in fornty of the Saint Paul's mausoleum...

I'm sure you have your own feelings about what's wrong with this but it seems to me that the big killer is the pillar intruding into the core of the image and fighting it out with the structure behind. Also, there's a general feeling of unsharpness which may be a scanner problem, I don't know.
