First to Bloom

This is a Poppy flower that was the 1st to bloom this spring Season in

northern Minnesota in this small patch.

Although the same problem appears on almost all poppy pictures, that's lack of details due to the difficult red color!

Beautiful capture of this poppy in full bloom, lovely presentation as well Paul. I really like your crop and how this is the only Poppy in full bloom. Makes the composition so much more interesting with the 'pods' to the left.
