Red Curtains

This is my first colour photograph in a while. I am smitten by b/w and even

tried to convert this. But then I decided to keep it the way it was. Thank

you for your constructive comments on this photo.

It's a coulor image at his best..!!! And a very special one..! A GREAT ONE. I do mean: just as it is, the base, not the technical side. The latter I can't judge here. Samrat, it's really magnificant..! For me one of the best I ever saw on PN.  The mood, the colors, the tones, the light, the composition..! Both the persons..! For me it's tasting the romantic side of France while looking out of a window..! I'm so glad you did listen to your intuition..! Everything is fitting here..! Wow..! I would hang it on ALL my walls..! :) Haha, first now I do notice the camera, MY FZ5..! That does declare a lot, that lovely softer result..!

Lovely image. I have a panasonic dmc fs7, just a bit too noisy,  this  makes me want an lx3 or 5 now.  Beautiful color.  I am confused about color too, but when color is really good, I like it better than b&w

Samrat, absolutely you have got the eye for coloured shots. The red comes out well. I am surprised to see the Panasonic being used.
