Hi Nelson,

This is the sharpest image that I have seen taken with the Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 in a while. The F/2.8 is the reason for the vivid colors and details.

Too often , I see people with very good fast optics stop them down, only to reduce the sharpness from their optic.

Any lose in DOF is more than compensated for by the striking image of the bird on the left.

Lens Wide Open...a man after my own heart !

Mike, Thank you for your comment.. Actually I took this with lot of zooming because of the 2"X 2" cage in front of me When the cranes moved the lens focus will switch to the cage. I'm glad I got it ok..
