Perfect!  Color, DOF, detail and composition are spot on.  The little Sparrow is often overlooked in favor of the more colorful birds, but as this image shows, they have a beauty all their own... Excellent... Mike

Technically perfect, all well adjusted and the result is optimal! I only wonder how could the focal length be 700mm with a full frame sensor and 500mm lens?!

Mercie Beaucoup Pierre! I had the 1.4X on the 500mm (500 X 1.4 = 700mm). As Mr Mancil noted somewhere, I am 'drooling' for a Canon 2X serie III since it's much better than a 1.4X TC series II. :-)

I've met people who claimed that they don't like glasses bettween their lens & the camera and even though I share the same feeling, I don't think they know what they are  .. missing!
