Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted June 13, 2011 backlighting made it hard to get their faces lighter, any suggestions on how to do that in PhotoShop without blowing out the grass? Link to comment
bill_brown8 0 Posted June 13, 2011 Create a new layer. Change blending mode to overlay. Select white. Select Paintbrush. Change paintbrush opacity to 10%. Paint over.Choosing black instead of white results in darkening.Regards Bill Link to comment
bill_brown8 0 Posted June 13, 2011 Sorry forgot one step. After you've changed the blending mode of the new layer to overlay, fill the layer with 50% Grey. The main advantage of this method is that it is non-destructive. You just make all your adjustments using either black or white brushes. 10% opacity will give you a subtle adjustment and you can just paint over it again if you need more.Bill Link to comment
