Good B&W tones, nice lines leading from foreground to the horizon.

Great composition and capture - well done. I have modified it a bit with no claim that mine is better - just an exchange between photographers.

Like I said in my email, Tony, I like your version better.  There is more moodiness in yours because of the darker tone range.  I love this site for the sharing that happens.

Even with the improvements by some members of PN, congratulations, this is a very nice picture. 

The stream leading the eye, and the moody skies are the strong points for me.

Thanks Ben.  I like this shot as well for the reasons you suggested.  I am pleased with the tweaks that Tony did as well.  In fact, Tony's more contrasty version led me to redo this image in a similar manner, ad I like it much better.  I cannot mention enough the power of people's input into others' work.  It is one of the reasons I joined Photo.net.  My growth has been great since I joined this site, and I am very thankful for the advice I have been given.  Take care, Ben, and all the best to you!
