B&W lends well to this composition and the the lighting which creates some well placed shadowing works. I also like how you framed the shot. Very engaging, nice work!

The lighting on this piece is spectacular.  So many nuances are brought out by the highlights or obscured in the shadows.  Unsure that this image would work nearly as well in color.  As a member of the medical field as well, my eye is pulled to her waist, and I ponder her scar.  A lovely lady, expertly photographed.  Thank you for sharing.  Best regards...

Everyone is complimenting the light on this image. Being honest I am split. I like the light on her hair, face and right shoulder. I am not so keen on the light on her left breast or torso. That said, it is a rather lovely image no matter what.

Continuing David's comment, I too love the pose and composition and most of the lighting. I'll say that it is not so much the light on her left side but the shadow of her arm. I suspect if her arm was out of the way the light would be fine. All of that is minor when the rest is so good, Maurizio.

Maurizio, Cropping, light & shade, exposure & tones, and her stance bears your masterly touch. Highest rating from me.
