I appreciate any thoughts on how to improve my landscape photography,

and specifically feedback on this image. Thank you in advance for your

candid comments.

Nothing to be improved here, it's perfect! A lot of images of waterfalls I've seen, this is something special because of the depth mostly made with the slight morning (I presume) haze and the clearness in the front plan, the colors are also exactly as they should be in regard of saturation!

Congratulations Alan!

Best regards!

Alan:

As Pierre said, there is lots of pleasing depth. I would add the soft colors are nice especially the spot of bright green above the falls. You do need to correct the CCW tilt, apparent in the pool spilling out to the left.

Beautiful long exposure, lovely green tones. My eye seems to be drawn away from the waterfall and into the forest on top: I would either darken it or crop some of it.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and kind words. I can't believe that I missed the fact that the image is not leveled.

I also like this one. Great composition. The waterfall has a very nice shape, and at fist sight it reminded me of a person with its arms spread. You know what I mean?

Kind regards, Alex

Alan, I would consider cropping a little from the top, probably to the top of the LH rocks. The very bright area above that is dragging my eye away from  the excellent image below. It's a magic location, very well captured.

Claude and Jeff: Thanks for your advice on cropping. I just printed this at 16x20, so the cropping works very well for that format.
