Looking at this image, I once again realise just how similar the Dutch language is to Afrikaans, my native language.  (We use exactly the same word: Brandweer).

An excellent image, once again.  She seems to be in a hurry, even with a walking stick!

Ruud, I like the strong graphic quality of the patterns of the truck as a background for her. The stripes look like the stripes of a crosswalk .She does seem to be in a hurry as though the light has changed and she hasn't quite made it to the sidewalk.

Having just had two knee replacements and still using a cane this shot makes me physically nervous!!! That is just what a good photo should do.....evoke some emotions!
