bojepsen1 0 Posted June 10, 2011 Beautiful as always, Ruud. I love the black and white treatment. Good texture and lovely contrast. I don't know if it would have been even more striking with another centimetre or so of the dog's head/ear visible, though. It is, however, still a wonderful photo as is :-) Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted June 11, 2011 This nice photo made me write about B&W conversion under your Working 17 photo. Let me explain. This tight framing describes well the intimate relationship between this young dog and it's owner, who's hand is so finely positioned next to the forefeet. The tonal scale is top notch, maybe too good meaning kinda distraction. The sleele looks like made of silver and somehow steals my attention from the dog, the main actor in this play of togetherness, so to say.Instead of writing a book about all this I would like to ask if you kindly would show the original color version as well? You have full right to be satisfied with this photo as it is now, I'm just curious about the possibilities to further strenghten the visual impact here. Do you care to discuss this, Ruud? GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted June 13, 2011 Your black and white just gets better and better Ruud, the coat of the person even seems to almost have a sheen to it. The putp is so cute, and well detailed. Congrats on a fine composition, most sincerely, Gail Link to comment
