............. the bigger picture shows the absolute clarity of this image. The bird on it's own is perfectly focussed showing good detail and a first class eye........... but then add the "frozen" feather...... wow. Good DoF and lighting.

Better than best........... well done.

Thanks Grayham! It happened so ... faast. I click when I notice there's a feather on the beak and I got an image of the feather blown away at least a yard from the bird. Just a fun image, LOL!- Shot this handheld, btw!
