Moonlight

This image was taken at Tasman River, Mt Cook, New Zealand. The "moon"

in the river looked bigger than the real moon in the sky because my

tripod was set up into the water so that I could get the closest

viewpoint. This image was taken at 6.48am of the local time, while the

far away mountain peak was already illuminated by the rising sun

behind the mountain.

Absolutely beautiful!  The colors are exquisite, and the photo captures such a sense of peace and tranquility.  I can almost feel the chill in the air and smell the wintery atmosphere.  Thanks Yan for sharing such a wonderful gift.
