This is cool.  I (also) like the transition from the silver-looking bottom to the black  upper part.  The seeds with the surrounding ripples help the fluffy stuff look rooted.  It really looks good.  Cheers, Micheal

I'm with Michael on this one, the bottom looks like stainless steel and although I know it's not intentional, it actually looks like a unique Christmas decoration, in fact I think it would make a most original and beautiful Christmas card. but leaving that aside I like the crispness and the light to dark gradation.

Original and ingenious!

Best Regards

Alf

Richard - thanks. You know the white fluffy stuff that makes up the ball appearance of the dandelion, well these are the small parts in some water. It is an extreme close-up view. I shot it in landscape mode but thought if I flipped it into portrait mode, it would have more visual impact.

I, too, viewed this as a winter scene, particularly involving shiny Christmas tree ornaments.  The detail is amazing.

My best,

The original was photographed in landscape mode and then turned it 90

degrees with photoshop.. Used a 90 mm macro.

Very nice work, the detail and focus make this a strong picture.  Also the light going from dark on top, to light in the bottom, adds to the strength of the picture,

Well Done,
Ben
