I wanted this rose to look like one I'd seen on Painted Fabric years

ago when I was in Italy. It was in a little shop window attached to a

Canvas Board. I am of course going from memory, I just

remembered how much I wanted to buy it and bring it home to my

Mother whom I knew would love it. Unfortunately I could not afford it,

but the memory remains with me still. (Thankyou for dropping by,

Gail)

Really pretty image Gail. Well composed too. Nice work.

I still think you'd be happy if you started working in Photoshop. For example I think it would make it easier to create the look of fabric in something like this.

A funny thing happened a few minutes ago. One of my coworkers (yes I'm at work), looked like they were coming into my office. I imaged that I would tell them that I was commenting on the work of one of my friends. I think a lot of Photo.netters feel like you are their friend.

This is so charming Gail. It really has the look of vintage or antique fabric.  I love the textures in the background. It is beautifully composed, the colours are wonderful. You are amazing, you manage to turn out wonderful creative work one after the other. You have such a creative mind.  Have you ever tried painting on fabric? This would be gorgeous on silk. Best wishes, Linda
