Am I really the first to praise this?  You've done a great job of keeping detail in both the shadows and the highlights.  I really like the colors, and the soft reflection of the colors on the water.  Somehow your exposure was long enough to deal with the low light, and to blur the waves on the water, but short enough not to blur the ship.

George,

A wonderful scene, indeed.

Excellent post processing, too.

I would like to have seen the details of the camera/lens and settings used such that I could rate the image based upon the technical aspects.

No rating provided at this time.

Regards, Mike

Thank you for your comments!

This photo is a mixing of two seperate photos; one for the ship, and one for all the other. Ship was captured with f/3.5, ISO 1600, 1/10 s to avoid blurring, the bridge and the sea were captured with f/20, ISO 100, 40 s.

It was impossible to capture all the details with one capture, because of the big difference of the lights and the movement of the ship.

Thank you again!

After reading the other critiques I understand this one much better. Very good editing to render such a lovely image. Such a beautiful bridge, I never tire of seeing it.  Hope you had a good weekend. Most sincerely, Gail

Dynamic colours and comnposition, and the ship adds a great sense of scale and dimension to the image. A most impressive spectacle.

Best Regards
