Kathy, it's survival maybe, but the ants shouldn't eat my potential models, ha!

William, it's only a pocket camera, ring flashes don't go with pocket cameras and my pocket in particular, ha! I maybe haven't used a flash at all, who knows, it was six years ago!

i thought at first they were gems arranged in an intricate pattern... now i see it's A gem - of composition and capture!

Very well detailed small creatures in action and I wouldn't dare go near these stinging structures. Not only is an excellent macro image but captured in their typical behavior and unity.
