Late Afternoon and the Waters Are Calm

Shot this on an unusual day--very high tide (normally much of this

is solid land) and very calm waters. I thought it was very peaceful.

I think it's a good picture. I like the light and the emptiness very much. I think it would stand out much better in a black or dark brown frame. The white pages don't do a great job as a background for this one. Besides that, I think I would have prefered a bit more of these bushes in the foreground. Maybe more contrast as well. Regards.
