Forest View

While I was searching the forest for photographs, I turned toward the

Merced River and was treated to this view. The sun was just rising and

had just begun to light up the trees. It hard to miss in Yosemite.

Your technical use of your equipment is excellent.

The 3 second exposure at ISO 100 developed this wonderful setting quite well.

Wonderful artistic shot, Leo.  Yosemite doesn't disappoint, but you still have to create the image.  You've done a great job.  I would crop the foreground to just in front of the cut of water.   Best regards.  Larry

Thank you Mike and Larry for your encouraging words. Larry, I used the extended foreground to give more of a feeling of being in the forest and as a lead in, but I can see your point. However, I will stick with my original vision but that just my take and by no means is yours without merit. Again thanks for taking the time to comment.

Wow!  Very unusual view of the Merced.  I like the way the light goes from sunlit to shadows.  Gives the shot an interesting DOF to say the least.
