Village Boy

This is my my first ever photo submission, so please be honest and

critical with any feedback. I photographed this little boy during a bike ride

along the banks of the Tonle Sap river in Cambodia, near the town of

Kampong Chhnang. The wooden struts you see behind him are the stilts

holding up his house, which is about 20 feet off the ground to avoid the

rainy season floods!

David,  I don't think there's anything I'd change.  I like the position of the boy in the frame, the side lighting, the dynamic verticals on the left side, the crop of his head, the hand, and his captivating eyes - in my opinion I believe it is a near perfect capture - and I think black and white is the fitting mode.
