Thank you, Marie.  Actually...he's peering around to see what all the commotion is down the road.  There was a bloodhound (that I have pics of in another folder) that suddenly came out of a field of high grass and wandered onto the road, howling like mad!   He quickly got this pups attention.  Regards,  John

thank you, Michael.  this was shot from quite a distance and cropped from a portrait format.  i was pleasantly surprised that it was as well focused as it is.  it was shot with the lens wide open, so his body isn't in sharp focus, but his head is...and that's what counted.  (i keep saying him...when i think it was a her!)   good to hear from you.  sorry i haven't been around to say hello lately.  tonight's the first night in a while i've spent on site.  take care...john
