It's the tree's shadow and rich, rolling browns of the Palouse that caught

my eye. Comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Stephen,  The trees' shadows, particularly from the lighter tree, caught my eye as well. I like their position in the frame too. Very pleasing image.

Stephen,

Someone remarked to me just a week ago "no point in going up to Steptoe now, while the fields are still bare". Apparently that concern didn't stop you from getting up really early. The verdant near fields and willow play off nicely here against the rich brown soil, and the shadows are great.  Well seen.

I love the way you have incorporated the regions of  color into the composition. The lighting and shadows are spectacular.  A wonderful image Stephen, beautiful work.

Like the heavy earthen toned proportioning you have done with this image and the shadows cast into it adds the significant visual impact to make this an image worth remembering.  Congrats, rek.

Beautiful image, every content in this landscape capture works superbly with each other, the green and yellow with the cottage in the foreground along with the shade of the trees on the left are adding a dynamic feel and quality here, the composition is also so well thought off and do connect this image with the viewers in a remarkable way.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

A marvelous image, Stephen.  When I saw the smaller thumbnail, I was not sure about this one, but upon seeing how you have used scale to your advantage it all came clear.  A great find, and well seen.  I like the balance between the green field and the fallow field as well.  Cheers.
