I particularly like the color here. The red, green, and blue work together to give the image 3 very distinct "planes" which I find very pleasing. The red is de-saturated enough so that it does not totally overpower the blue and green, yet is still dominate.

The image emphasizes how rugged this part of the country is.

An excellent image of this beautifully, scenic, location Deb. Fabulous colors in the desert rock. Looks like this was an excellent trip! I see a few splotches of sensor dust that could easily be cleaned up, but otherwise is a fine image. Well done!

I think its the composition of the soil that renders the color and I find it very appealing against the light blue sky. The trail here is evident enough to bring me into the landscape. Beautiful image, Deb. - Lester
