Fun!

Nice tight crop.

Slightly creepy how the mantis seems to look at me.

All the best, Matthijs.

Fantastic control in obtaining this shot Pierre!. Gives me the shivers as I am not a 'bug lover' on my body...anywhere! But wonderful definiton and clarity just the same.  Good show!!!

Hello Pierre,

Apparently, the high quality Carl Zeiss lens attracts beautiful creatures like this one to pose for you !

Outstanding results !

Oh Pierre,

I was so intrigued by this image, I enlarged it a 1000 times and  saw your face in the reflection from the grasshopper's right eye !

Don Michele, you're back from the walking with your big one on the beach? If I had one of your fancy, smaller ones called macro you could see my face in each and every single eye cell of this bastard!

Ciao zio Michele!

He looks confused. Very sharp and excellant work. I am not very happy with bugs though. If I ever buy a macro, I will stick to flowers.

Crisp details and quality in this macro shot, with wonderful dof and nice light control. The subject itself is also interesting. Bravo.

Casio should be paying you for this! Gives a whole new meaning to the term "Insect Watch" : - )

Love it!

I think this scares me more than it does Gail (I did manage to shoot a couple of similar ones before though) .... nice colours and sharpness on this guy.

I always enjoy visiting your page, Pierre.  Never know what I will find.  Once again I am not disappointed.  Marvelous detail and presentation.

Very well done as usual...

Pierre, superb surreal macro-photography. You always have something original and intelligent twist in your images. The concept ,presentation & colour-contrast shows your talent.

Great macro and title. My son always collected bugs so I enjoy looking at them close up as long as they don't move too fast. lol
