brian_lait 0 Posted May 22, 2011 There's a photo in there somewhere, but I'm not sure you have captured it since for me the two tree trunks are overpowering the whole.The stream on the right and the lines of the fences look as if they should be better used and this might have been so with a different angle of shooting.I like the winter lighting. raddatzphoto 0 Posted May 22, 2011 Thanks for your interest, Brian. Try to see this image more as a triptych composition, rather than the traditional landscape composition. Or then perhaps, a suggestion using thirds ....as in planes overlaid. My intention was using the center tree as a focal point, foreground trees as spatial anchor, peripheral wanderings then become the third. It's something I felt, rather than understood, and still do. Thanks for giving me the impetus to try to put it in words. An ambitious concept, which obviously fails here, for the most part. Link to comment
