Mother and Daughter

I went to the beach to play with my newly purchased (used) 5D. I

watched this mother and daughter for some time, and finally got a

decent shot that I felt expressed a real genuine interaction between

them. I am amazed at how nice the images come right out of the

camera. I only cropped this shot a bit, but did not adjust exposure

or anything else. Let me know what you think of the image quality,

and composition.

Good colors. very sharp and the lighting is very good.

Well you have a good camera with a very good lens.

I don't like the DOF, it's too small for this kind off photo's.

I would think the histogram looked perfect, the range of light and colour looks spot on!  I agree with Wim that for this type of shot a greater depth of field would be more agreeable, or alternatively a closer up more personal shot of the interaction between mother and child. Wishing you many more pleasurable hours with your new camera.
