Cypress Lake is on the Middleton Plantation in South Carolina just

outside of Charleston. I considered myself fortunate to find this shaded

spot in mid-afternoon on a bright sunny day. Your comments are

valued and appreciated. Thanks, Larry.

Lovely and rustique forest view.

I reaaly like the white tree adding a "relief" to all the greens.

You might like to try a "wide screen / panavision" version by cropping a bit from the bottom and the top.

All the best, Matthijs.

Thanks, Mathijs,  I often do crop images for a more pano look, but on this one I did not want to cut of the reflection.  I appreciate your comment. Perhaps I will try this to see how it looks.  Thanks, again.  Larry

Hi Larry-I really like this image, especially the overhanging branches & the reflections are great, also like the white tree,it provides a good point for reference for judging the greens.I must be a wonderful experience, can almost feel the quietness or is there a lot of flying insects, Regarding the car wreckers alongside the stream & I would expect it is the same down your way, get away from the cities & things can become very lax.Lake Superior, well that's the big one & the cold one.We made the circular tour years ago & really enjoyed the experience, love the rugged scenery. Can't get over the brilliant greens in your imagebest Rgards-Ross
