Spring Runoff-Happy Isles

This was taken at Happy Isles in Yosemite Valley just beneath Vernal

Falls. This is a combination of an HDR and a 2 stop underexposure

which was used for controlling the white water.

Leo, just been looking around. You came away with some great photographs on your trip. These b&w scenes along the cascades just scream with textures, from the soft flowing water to the intricate and delicate branches. You guys must have explored quite a bit, something I didn't have time for when I went. I am so envious of these shots along this swollen creek. Very nice work. I'm perplexed why there aren't more comments (favorable I mean)!

Thanks Mark, after looking at your strong images from Yosemite I felt like I was a real failure. Your photographs were just outstanding and your processing just couldn't be better.

I don't know Leo.  This really appeals to me.  You've hit all the tonal ranges from the looks of it, your composition rocks and again I like the flowing water aspect of it.  Four aces with a deuce kicker would be my rating...Lefty
