My firend Pierre,

This presentation is outstanding. The two lizards blend with the background so well, yet they are well contrasted to each other.

The details are superb, thanks to your skill and the use of the great Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar zoom lens.

I totally agree with previous comments. This image is specially acctractive and, in rel life, very uncommun.

The background and subjects have near, graceful complementary tones.

Great photo !!

The whole texture of "father and son" appears like a relief and plaster, and where the colours add to this effect too.

Kind regards,

I agree with all previous comments.  An excellent artistic presentation.  It reminds me also of a relief.  There is also a nice vintage or antique feel to this - a parchment unearthed from some ancient culture,

Pierre, you make some sort of virtual happiness for those creatures, placing them on old wall to where they are belong... :-)   Grigoriy.

The series is really wonderful. This one is perfectly composed with lovely light, tonal and the clarity. Almost 3D effect. Like it.
All the best to you. Warm Regards.

I live in a part of South Africa where these creatures (gheckos) are very common, and I have tried MANY times  to capture them on camera.  Non of my pics ever came out this good... (They usually don't sit still long enough to take a good picture).

Lighting, contrast and tones, everything is just 100%!  Very well done on an excellent image!

Engela, these live in houses, are very small and tender and I caught them both (in different time) in my bath tab, took them with a sheet of paper A4 and took pictures of them on it or on my hand! A lot of pictures and then I chose the best and made PSD files of them!

Thank you and all others for the very positive comments!

Amo particolarmente questa tua nuova serie, mi piacerebbe conoscere cosa suscita in te il comporre queste immagini tra l'antico e il metafisico.

Hi Pierre,

Your post production is incredible.  I tried so many times to blend two pictures together but I can never make it looks real!  What is the chapter in PS that I missed?...  Anyway, your skill is way beyond the excellent level.

Sihn, I said above that the lizards have been saved as separate PSD files (only the lizard selected with polygonal lasso tool and put to a new file and saved as PSD file and later dragged and dropped wherever you want) and just put on the texture picture! As simple as that! Some of my recent pictures are done the same way + blending layers, there are many options of blending and one has always to try first all of them and then adjust the opacity! For the most wanted result to be achieved, that is!
