Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 19, 2011 Pnina, this is quite a picture. I'm struck by the precision of the pose and the fact that you managed to capture it so precisely and clearly in what looks like low stage lighting. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted May 20, 2011 It's interesting how the title and her pose conveys flying, but the actual truth is that she is very earthbound and held by gravity. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted May 22, 2011 I very much like the way you positioned the dancer in the frame, especially given the fact that she (as Jeff put it above) seems very earthbound, and thus 'grounds' your square format composition very nicely, imo. The low light conditions didn't prevent you from obtaining good clarity and details in the photo. I like the subdued colors too; they work nicely here, and don't seem to render the photo somber at all. Nice work! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 23, 2011 Jeff and Marjolein, thanks, we have the gravity, yes, but there is not any of it in our imagination ,if we have a good one....;-))Jast to let you know that I will have a big exhibition next month of my work with Mesila.Iwill upload an invitation for you ,and it will be a good chance to use your imagination and be with me at the opening;-))Andrea and Bob, thanks both of you for your feedback. ldavidson 4 Posted May 26, 2011 Pnina, I really like how you placed your subject in the frame. She could be flying or swimming (if I hadn't read the title). The light is wonderful. Very interesting and original as always. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted June 8, 2011 It's quite a long time since my previous visit here. It was worth the long virtual trip just instantly lock my eyes on this delicious gem.Her expression, posture are top, she is well illuminated and exposed, and the colors are very appealing. I must confess having this slight reservation to the often so warm overall shades on many of your stage photos, but that's my problem ;-)Bravo! Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted June 8, 2011 I've always enjoyed your dancers...no exception here...beautifully captured. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 10, 2011 Linda, El, Markku and J, It is interestinalways to know what are the impressions of viewers that are prepared to write their impressions, I learn ansd learned a lot by relateto it. Markku, I don't change the colors, only sometimes converting some of them to B/W. It is the colors of lights and dancer as they were on the stage.;-)) Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted June 10, 2011 Just to clarify; I didn't mean that you were changing the colors, no. I wonder if you are shooting with white balance on Auto in most cases? You have likely found out what works best there on stage. As said, it's just my minor reservation, and besides fully natural rendering of colors may either be ideal, I guess. Just my 2 cents. ;-) Link to comment
