Beautifully taken landscape. Perhaps a slight push to the tones on the forested hillside might  diminish the somewhat distracting mid-tones. I am sure the mountainside was misty in reality -  but reality is over-rated, everywhere and excruciatingly banal. Beautiful photograph.

Best regards,

Lovely shot Linda. I love the streaks of light from the clouds and the reflection of the willow tree.  The barn just adds a touch of reality to the shot.  Excellent work. Regards always - michel

Wonderful image and much has already been said. A scene like this has pleasant memories for me. A minor nit would be to level the horizon. Have a great day.

Linda,  There's little I can say that others haven't covered.  I too extend my kudos on a terrific image.  The mood is quite restful and serene.  You may want to eliminate the dark gray spot in the top right.  It looks a bit like vignetting, but may just be a dark cloud.  It could be cloned out too. Nice image.   Larry

Maurizio, thank you.

Lars, my husband has been to Sweden and liked it very much. I have often looked at photos of Sweden and thought they must have been taken in Canada. There are some similarities between our countries other than landscape. We share a love of peace, nature, hockey and  forestry. thanks for commenting.

John, thanks for the advice about the mid-tones on the mountain.

Xavier, thanks for commenting.

Michel, I have always loved to see light beaming down through the clouds, I’m glad you noticed that.

Tony, thanks for that minor nit. I didn’t notice the horizon at all and I should have. It’s nice to have a second pair of eyes look to notice and point out what I miss.

Niki, thank you. It’s nice to hear from you.

Ruud, thanks for stopping by.

Grigoriy, thank you.

Radu, thank you.

Alf, spring is the most beautiful season here. Every thing is soft and green. In the summer the landscape becomes parched, dry and brown. So I am out wandering the countryside with my camera as much as possible.

Best wishes.

The weather was a mixed bag that day. There were clouds, rain and sunlight. It was changing every minute. I think that  was the dark underside of rain cloud moving in. I didn't notice it. Thanks for pointing that out, I will clone it out.

Beautiful scene with reflection and barn, if that is a barn.  Could be a scene from one of the big jigsaw puzzles.

So, if one were in the tube, having an MRI, this would be a choice of focus in the mind like a dreamy escape

Carlos, thank you, so nice to hear from you.

Keith, thank you, I’m working on it.

Monte, it looks like a barn but it is someone’s house.

Michael, thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

Lester, it is good to hear your thoughts.

Donna, yes, a dreamy escape is what it is, in the photo and also in real life. You have to imagine  birds chirping to get the whole picture. Thank you.

You are all very kind.

Best wishes,

Linda
