William Michael 2,214 Posted May 17, 2011 I liked all the images in this set of dancers in the park: but I feel you are letting yourself down a bit with this B&W as you have not exploited the full potential of the B&W medium.Firstly I don’t believe you do not have a full range of grey tones and secondly I believe you could exploit that sunlight’s intensity and direction more within the scene, to allow the viewer’s eye to focus on the dancers. All their faces are a liitle lost in the muddy midtone greys. The tree branch growing out of the third dancer’s head is annoying and it would benefit with a slight crop just placing the girls a tad off cemtre and thus allowing that (darkened) path to work more effectively as it grows out of the background.
