The Leitz 135 Elmarit, one of the best lenses ever made, is a manual

focus lens from the 1970s, a slow cumbersome, heavy truck of a lens

that demands a slow, meticulous handling. What this means in English

is that it is one big headache to use, especially when one is used to

ultra-compact, auto everything modern DSLR zooms. I acquired this

little ditty from a guy earlier this year, and when I actually nail

the focus, especially with a moving object like Gabriel, the results

are often quite impressive. The rest of the time, it is not totally

unlike being married to the frigid supermodel, if you catch my drift.

Your comments, of course, are always welcome.

Marvelous intro Emmanuel. I'm not familiar with that lens but the results speak for themselves. Such clarity in a moving subject is nice to behold. Great colors as well. Take care.

Sincerely,

Holger

Emmanuel, you got tack-sharp image with this lens. Very good exposure,DOF & light.  You are absorbed  in serious photography. Compliments!

Good one, Emmanuel. I really like the bright central splash of orange . It grabs your attention right away and then your gaze slides easily over to Gabe's face. Not your typical composition but the strong color works very well here.
