Of course mon chum I always find your work to be beyond reproach and of the highest quality and for you to take the time to comment on my simple shots is an honor ... Cheers on a great series of post... Really like this one very much so well presented... MJ

I think the same as MJ above. I have seen several images of this subject within your portfolio and appreciate them all. The combination of this style of back ground adds to the atmosphere of the older portrait however that comment is not intended to take anything away from the b&ws of the same subject. They are all great and you are a proficient capturer and editor of sublime images.

Thank you all your comments on my images, the constructive comments are always welcome.

Regards Pierre, and have a great day

Lo sai che la versione a colori mi piace di più di quella in B/W? Trovo che dia più vita al personaggio! Ciao, amico mio!

I was just thinking, with all your skills, you could give him a cheroot like Clint Eastwood.  But seriously folks, I like the colour, but this one may have too much colour.  Perhaps somewhere in between?  More toward the black-and-white version than the colour version??  As if it were a tinted black-and-white???  sorry.  best, j

Once I seen sepia style post processing, I'm expecting that all content will stay in same tonal and color range. This one is exception. It looks like, as author, you are trying brake out traditional concept, and redefine new and personal one. I will place it in category of successful and original art work. With all my best, Grigoriy

Prva liga što bi se nekad reklo, Mesje Dima. Izvanredan portret a dodatna obrada samo uvećava doživljaj posmatranja ovog divnog starca. Svaka čast!

A wonderful image. Nicely done as usual Pierre.  I like the color version a bit more than the b/w but they are both just super.
