Just bought my first macro lens last week. All suggestions on how to

Congratulations for the lens Line (you don't mention which one is that lens though and it is very important in macros)! This picture is a great macro, artistic because it's absolutely clean and background color fits the color of the main subject and the bud or whatever it is! A lot of empty room though, but I guess it was inevitable for this kind of subject and for the intended composition!
