Cascade Creek Runoff

Leo this is one sweet capture.  The branches of the tree makes for a great counter balance for the hard rocks on the left.  The water aspect is super with the slower speed.  Makes the water really soft..Lefty

Elegant and artistic.  As Ray has pointed out, it really is interesting the yin-yang balance between the left and right sides of the image too--the dark and bold rocks of the left side contrasted with the soft and blurred of the lacy branches on the right.  Neat photograph!  Cheers!  Chris

When we first saw this waterfall it was partially sunlit and the

dynamic range was way too large. Besides, to me these type of images

are best suited to full shade and low light. My buddy, Ray Banfield

and I returned early one morning and we both captured some pleasing

images. Although this image has a lot to see, I think the central

theme pulls them all together providing a pleasing balanced photograph.

You have created a soft and artistic abstract.  It is most interesting how all of the cascades overlap together. B&W is clearly the right choice here.   Great job on this successful image.    Larry

Great shot - the shrub and it's movement adds some spice to this image. Well done!

Another beaut!  I think I prefer this one over your similar shot because of the delicate foliage on the right.  It makes the image for me.   Perfect shutter speed and exposure!
