an interesting interpretation. othello seems very inside his thoughts, and the contrast with the background underlines this, i have only a doubt, about the face's tones. i think this blue is too cool, i preferred a different temperature, more hot, becouse the personnage is not cool at all. bravo, ciao

no doubt.  i think the colour is fine.  i see that you've used a uv light.  the border between the heads is a little confusing, though.  i think it would be better if the contour of the decoration on the scarf did not follow the contour of his nose.

Thank you very much for you comment Andrea! Again like with most of my photos my final decision is made instinctively! I made several colour versions of this photo and somehow this one just sort of felt the best although I'll agree with you not totaly in line with the mood of the story.

Jamie this is a detail of a venetian mask so I had no control of the shapes and position. I used a Tiffen X-ray filter which gives similar results to the UV with the difference that it reverses light and dark. Thank you very much for your observation! You have been a faithful guide from the very beginning!!!
