semacc 0 Posted May 9, 2011 Nice subtle tones. Of course your subject is the star of the shot. Congrats. Regards, JMacC Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted May 10, 2011 Why focus on the eyes? THIS is why! A beautiful portrait nicely (tightly) cropped to place and keep the emphasis on her angelic face. I'm a sucker for B&W portraits but you have trumped that preference with a slight sepia tone. Worthy of a frame & mounting somewhere prominent. Best, LM. Link to comment
michael_d_davis 0 Posted May 12, 2011 TO ME HER EYES SHOULD HAVE BEEN LOWERED A LITTLE. NICE PHOTO OVERALL. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted May 12, 2011 Michael, I don't understand what you mean? Lower by cropping? I wasn't having her pose; she was looking at something and looked up at me and I took the shot, so it is what it is for posing. I also tried this in a horizontal frame, but felt the portrait frame had more impact. Thanks for commenting, everyone! Link to comment
