matthijs 0 Posted May 8, 2011 Artistic tilt and an interesting short story. I imagine this being in a modern art museum... The brightness and contrast is a tad bland to my eye. I wonder if upping the brightness and contrast would add to the impact of the picture. That said: well seen and well shot! Matthijs. Link to comment
samrat 1 Posted May 8, 2011 Thank you for your kind comment on the photo. Yes, this was taken at Tate Modern, London, which I had visited that day to see an exhibition of paintings by Joan Miro. I saw this as I was moving between rooms and what what struck me here was the contrast between the rigid symmetry of the frames and the fluidity of life represented by the feet.I chose to exhibit this with a tilt as it represents my way of looking at the situation at an angle rather than head on.You are right with my lack of expertise in post-production. I have switched to PSE9 and am getting used to it. Regards. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted May 9, 2011 Samrat, the second version is my preference too. You have adroitly captured the "contrast between the rigid symmetry of the frames and the fluidity of life represented by the feet." Link to comment
