jeffl7 0 Posted May 8, 2011 I particularly like the wrinkles and rumples in the petals. Pink so pink it's almost unreal. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted May 8, 2011 Maurizio, thank you very much for your encouraging feedback.Daniel, thank you very much for your appreciation.Jeff, the colors are real and not saturated. Here is the original. I have cropped the original shot to highlight the texture of the flower. Thank you very much for your observation. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted May 9, 2011 I knew you hadn't tinkered with the saturation or color. I've seen these flowers in person, and I still find them unbelievable. The color's so vivid it almost hurts the eyes, doesn't it? Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 9, 2011 Like an umbrella hand painted in asia... I think you have done fantatic in the way you have cropped the image and portrayed it .. Very effective and indeed creative as always my dear friend... MJ Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted May 10, 2011 Can't argue with any of the positive comments above. You lucked out with a rather flat bloom which enabled you to maintain sharp focus throughout. I think you were wise to crop as tightly as you did. Love the symmetry and colours. Had it been mine to offer, my artistic license would have cropped it square for even greater symmetry. But that's only one opinion, not a deal breaker. Certainly a keeper at any rate. Best, LM. Link to comment
