Technically, the off center window and including of some of the interior works both for composition and also giving this an historical feel.  You have proven here that a photo is worth a thousand words; IMHO, this could be a strong reference to the pen being mightier then the sword; or a comment on the ideals of you founding fathers vs the modern day country or ..... True art touches different people in different ways  and often causes controversy.  This is art.
