tm_j 30 Posted May 4, 2011 Thanks for viewing/comments! This Gal/Fellow seems to get a bit over excited such that his feathers all stand up. Sometimes, I wonder if it's testorone/hormone (does animal has that?) or it's too much viagra - LOL! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 4, 2011 Actually isn't it nice when you cathc a bit fo wind and a bird with attitude to give you great and interesting shots as you have done here. I like the low light and the nice accents on the white by the cooler tones... Well shot and presented... MJ Link to comment

tm_j 30 Posted May 5, 2011 Thanks you Folks!MJ, It's not the wind that got his feather up. It's ... viagra /joke .. Actually, it's his anger/upset reaction that is shown with the raised feather. I was shooting him normally (early morning, sun comming up and no wind) with the feather all laid down. Then, all of a sudden he became a porcupine as such, I was wondering why and briefly took my eye off the view finder to see another egret had landed nearby. He/She (no way - for me - to tell of what gender an egret is) then proceed to chase the other one for quite sometimes. Typical agression of egret (or some mean people, LOL) in teritorial disputes. Not Here 93 Posted May 5, 2011 Hmmm, the more plumage they wear, the shorter their fuse; yep, just like us ;-).... Actually, this is an excellent photo that shows off this guy/gal perfectly... Mike Link to comment
