Hi Engela,

From 6 ratings this image received so far you can tell people do not like it.
But putting ratings aside, here are few points to consider.

If you look at the thumbnail of it (or some other way distant yourself from knowing what the object is) to understand if there are lines, shapes, areas of color that make up composition, you will see one black area on right/bottom, one not that dark in the center/left and a strong curving line on top. All surrounded by uniform grey.

So, from graphical/abstract visual point of view the most dominant element here is that white line. But not that much of other interesting shapes or lines. If you want us to focus on something other than that line, or if you want to use it to direct us to the point of interest, you need to make it less strong visually - less contrasty. Either color it in Photoshop, or paint it before shooting :)

You lighted your composition from camera side (front light), therefore making objects look potentially flat. Actually, for round objects it still can work but shadows that objects are casting on other objects are minimized. And if there are no shadows, then you lose one of the components that create feeling of depth.

I would suggest to rethink your composition and based on that rearrange objects. Light it so that viewer can see most important element, and other elements support viewer to see it or come to that focus point rather than distract from it.

Good luck

Vardan
