I am sure both your subjects are pleased with this image and presentation.  It shows an intimacy that is difficult to portray.  However, send these two to me so I can do something with that limp hand on the left, move the light to a different area, and use black and white along with dramatic lighting to create a intimate sense of mystery.  Don't get me wrong, your image is fine, but I sure know what I would do.

David, then I would say, find yourself two girls who are in a natural, non-contrived setting, bathed in exisiting natural light, disrupt it all by manipulating the scene into your vision, and by all means, do it!

Ehhhh, actually, I prefer the lamp, but I appreciate your thoughts on it! I knew there would be a few people who would find it a distraction, but it to me, it adds more than it takes away. I might dink with it some more when I get time. Thanks!
