Before Garden of Eden

Looking for any input - the more critical the better.

 

I would be particularly interested to know some specific details

about how the photo is perceived, what is seen and what is not.

Any opinion is appreciated.

Nice composition with warm colours. I would have liked the stem of the apple to be completely sharp as, particularly in the large version, this is where my eye settles. I also think it needs either more or less of the stray lights in the background - with more they could look like stray galaxies, but right now they look a bit accidental.

i have no idea what this is...but i like it. perhaps an out of focus doorknob? nice colours.

I knew that a thumbnail image of this photo would look rather misleading but I thought the subject was recognizable in the medium and large versions.

BTW, the original, unaltered photo can be found in my folder.
