JamieK 1 Posted May 2, 2011 I compared three lenses by taking similar pictures with equivalent focal lengths and apertures. The attached image detail facilitates comparison. The other picture has a similar name. Here are some technical details: Camera: Hasselblad XPanCrop Factor: 0.55 (almost twice as wide as a normal 35 mm negative)Film: Kodak Tmax 400 filmISO: 400Lens: Hasselblad 45 mm, f/4.0Shutter: unknown, I usually overexpose one and underexpose one.Aperture: f/4.8Background Blur Index (see my blur presentation): 9.4 Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 4, 2011 You need to enlarge this image to experience its high quality details while the lighting contrast and tone are very powerful here and adding a great credit to this image appearance.Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted May 4, 2011 This is one of those stitched scans I described. They are about 40 Mega Pixel. Did you get my wife, Kristina's description of how we stitch them together? She sent it through PhotoNet email somehow. Thanks for the comment. best, j Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted May 6, 2011 The panoramic camera format may help. There's another version in the same folder taken with normal 35-mm camera, and I'm not sure it's as impressive. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted July 22, 2012 I take groups of pictures of the same scene with different lenses to compare the lenses - matching images are in the same folder. Leave a comment if you're interested, and I'll send you a link to the presentation. Link to comment
