Another very good documentary from you, but not only. This is also an excellent presentation of b/w photography. I like the light/shadow proportion and tonality. Nicely composed with lovely atmosphere.

I agree with the above comments that the composition of the photo, and the handling of the light & tones is very nicely done, Rajat. I wonder though, if the primary focus should have possibly been more evident on the farmer's face... instead of on the cabbages (?) beyond...? In any event, = a strong documentary photo indeed.

Marjolein - The light was harsh. Looking through the viewfinder the leaves looked great. The man's face was totally in shadow and he was of a particularly dark complexion. I think I focused and metered on the leaves. Using the spot adjustment brush in Lightroom I lightened his face quite a bit but could not recover his features sufficiently. Excessive sharpening I find usually ruins a photograph. Your visit is always looked forward to. Thank you.
