Rajat,

beautiful portrait! In my opinion a little bit dark.

I propose to you my rework (hope this don't bother you).

Warm regards.

Stefano.

Your visits are always welcomed and looked forward to, my friend.

The question does not arise of any re-work by you, or any observations you may make, 'bothering' me! Far from it. In fact it helps a great deal to know what others feel/perceive. I have realized, based on accumulated experience - with the help of friends like you - that I tend to darken a bit too much some of my black & white portraits. I ascribe it to integrity of the photographed person's true complexion (always dark in these situations) but it is also my innate conservativeness. It is good to be reminded again, so thank you my friend!

Wonderful smile with a touch of shyness that reminds of me as a child, always afraid of other boys. His inosence is evident, and I which there are strong siblings , father, uncles or teachers to protect him from the cruel world. I did not have anyone, and somehow I survive, he will also survive!!! Just thinking outloud my friend! Your images, at time,  reminds me of years past! Warm regards.

A fine portrait indeed, Rajat & a lovely moment captured.  I very much like the boy's candid and spontaneous smile. The square crop works nicely. ( I too think that the photo feels a bit too dark  & rather like what Stefano did with it.. ) Best regards to you, Marjolein
