andrea_garza 0 Posted February 17, 2003 The color and clarity are top notch. Framing is nice too, although I suppose I'd have left just a tad bit more space to the right. Great shot through the glass. If you had taken it in the wild, it would have been that much more impressive, but of course if you are like me, you can only afford a trip to the zoo! HA. Great shot, very nice. Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted February 17, 2003 Thanks a lot for the comments. I was wondering what people think about removing the reflection of the neon light in the frogs eye? Would a bit of judicious photoshopping improve this? Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted February 18, 2003 You are doing an amazing job with that Epson camera. I woudn't have thought anybody could get photos this good. That isn't a backhanded compliment - this is a good photo by any standards. Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted February 18, 2003 Thanks. I keep looking at newer cameras but keep on realizing that the epson just takes great photos. I have blown some of my photos up to 20x24 using Genuine fractals plugin for photoshop and they come out really good. Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted February 18, 2003 I'm not too worried about that. I much rather get a few constructive comments to help me learn. Thanks. Link to comment

mitch_codner1 0 Posted February 19, 2003 Ray, The reflection in the eye didn't bother me, in fact it helps confirm that it is in sharp focus (read that somewhere). I'd go back to the zoo and do 2 things. 1. Experiment with softening the flash, it would help on the back leg and the backside of the other eye. 2. Play with framing so that the sharp eye is at the upper right third space, yet keep the snout from getting near the right edge. Ray, can a polarizing filter fit on the stack of those three others? Peace, Love, Frog. Mitch Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted February 19, 2003 I did not use any flash. The light was from the aquarium lighting. I will try the framing tip to see what it does. Thanks. And yes I can put a polarizer on the lens. I will see what that will do also. Link to comment
