Silence at storm-land: Maranjab

Another capture of Maranjab desert in central IRAN, in a beautiful

sunset. Result of two separate shots, one for sky and another for f/g.

Main shot specs: f/16, 1.0 sec, ISO/100, @16 mm. So much thanks for

your thoughts, advices and suggestions.

Beautiful color, wonderful foreground. I try to avoid centered horizons, but find it difficult to choose more sky or more ground in this shot. Nice work!

The textures on sky and foreground are stunning. The colors are really golden in both parameters without using any filters. The sharpness from foreground to infinity is remarkable!!!

Another well composed and thought out image. The detailed Maram grass and sand textures offer a great anchor point from which the eyes can wander to the glorious sky colours.

Spectacular view, well composed and played with colors.

I love the long tentacles of the grass reaching out in the sand. The sunset is magnificent. A beautiful image.

Hamid, I really like the clarity of the detail in the foreground and the subtle visibility of the mountains on the horizon. The color and tone throughout are excellent. 

Very nice shot with fantastic play of colours & lights.Only thing I will not go with you is that 50/50 composition rather croping a bit darker,less textured sky.
